Associazione Centro ELIS, as partner of the project “Quality Architectural Conservation as an Engine for
the Economic Development of Construction and Tourism in Jordan / RE-BUILD” (AID 013244/12/7), co
financed by the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation (AICS) under the 2023 Call for Proposals
for Initiatives Promoted by Local Authorities and Civil Society Organizations (and other non-profit
entities registered under Article 26, Law no. 125/2014), announces a call for applications to select 10
Jordanian trainers to be employed as instructors in the tourism promotion courses to be implemented
within the framework of the RE-BUILD Project.

1. Purpose of the courses
The aim of the courses is to train skilled professionals young Jordanians, age 18-24, in the tourism
promotion sector, with a strongly practical approach. Trainers must be able to design and deliver
teaching activities aimed at unemployed young people interested in working in the Hospitality
Management and/or Tourism Management sector, using innovative materials and techniques. Upon
completion of the programmes, participants will be ready to enter the job market.
2. Profiles’ Details:
It should be noted that a trainer may apply for one or more centers and for one or more subjects, depending on
their availability and skills.
3. Course Structure
The following editions are planned (not in chronological order):
• 2 editions of the Hospitality Management Course – Amman and Petra
• 2 editions of the Tourism Management Course – Karak and Petra
Each edition has the following features:
• Duration: 160 hours, divided into thematic modules
• Participants per edition: 15 beneficiaries
• Delivery period: May 2026 to September 2027 (schedule under definition)
4. Target Applicants
The call is open to professionals with experience in training, interested in serving as practical trainers in
the field of Hospitality Management and/or Tourism Management, with a focus on the following thematic
areas: Soft Skills & Communication; Hotel Management & Organisation; Legislation & Business English;
Territorial Tourism & Destination Management; Operational Hospitality & MICE.
5. Admission Requirements
Applications may be submitted by those who, at the date of publication of this call, meet the following
requirements:
• Academic qualification: bachelor's or master's degree, or professional diploma in a relevant
field.
• Professional experience: At least 1 documented year of practical work experience in the field
of application. Real hands-on experience is essential; academic experience will also be
positively considered.
• Teaching competencies: Prior experience in training activities, technical tutoring or technical
outreach in the relevant field.
• Regulatory and technical knowledge: Familiarity with the main regulations currently in force
in Jordan in the tourism sector, and ability to contextualise them in a training setting.
• English Language: Good level of English to communicate with ELIS coordinators and Italian
experts.
• Motivation to start or consolidate a professional path in adult education and to exchange best
practices and expertise with Italian sector specialists.
• Availability to deliver Hospitality and Tourism Management training courses in the cities of
Amman and Karak, or Petra (to be specified at the time of application).
6. Required Documentation

• Updated curriculum vitae, with indication and description of the following items:
o Academic qualification
o Specialist technical training
o Training in adult learning methodologies and applied pedagogy
o Practical and professional experience (fieldwork, technical experience, training
experience, etc.)
o Soft skills
o Relevant licences and certifications
o Research activities and networking
• Copy of academic qualifications
• Any certificates from previous courses, training activities or relevant experiences
7. How to Apply
All documentation must be sent by email to rebuild@elis.org no later than 23 April 2026, with the

Applicants are required to indicate their preferred location(s) among the following (multiple choices
are allowed): Amman, Karak, Petra
8. Selection Process
The selection will take place in two stages:
• Stage 1 – Document review: assessment of submitted documentation against the admission
criteria.
• Stage 2 – Interview: meeting with ELIS training experts and coordinators.
Evaluation criteria will include:
• Relevance of the applicant's profile to the course objectives
• Prior experience in the sector
• Motivation to participate
9. Assignment and Remuneration
The assignment will be formalised through an individual contract between Associazione Centro ELIS
and the selected trainer.
• Hourly rate: €30.00 (thirty euros/00), to be considered all-inclusive and gross of any taxes, VAT
(if applicable), and social security contributions or other withholdings (if applicable) as required
by applicable law, and subject to conversion into JOD at the exchange rate applicable at the time
of payment. The payment will be made from Italy on a gross basis in order to avoid double
taxation. The beneficiary shall be responsible for declaring this income in their tax return. Social
security and insurance contributions shall not be borne by ELIS.
